The Ford Bronco has long been a part of American culture, dating back to 1965 when the first models were released. Today, we are going to talk about what made the original Ford Bronco so great, and why Ford has brought them back again!

The Ford Bronco is a long time Ford product. It has been around for many years in many different generations. However, the coolest one, and the model that started it all, is the first model. It was originally released in 1965 and was instantly a hit. The Bronco is what you could call Ford's answer to the Jeep. It is a 4-wheel drive, off-road based vehicle that can tackle almost any terrain you throw at it.

In fact, the Ford Bronco was originally overseen by Lee Iacocca as an off-road vehicle that would directly compete with the Toyota Land Cruiser and the Jeep CJ-5. However, the way in which is was advertised was as an early concept of what we know today as the SUV, or the Sports Utility Vehicle.

So the Ford Bronco brought about a competitor in the off-road category and a beginnings to the SUV. So, already we can see that it is pretty important. The car itself was good looking and had a great design. The design gave it a sleeker look than its competitors and a better feel in-terms of drivability. In fact, it was actually designed by the same guy who designed the Ford Mustang only a few years previously.

The big difference between the Ford Bronco and the other off-road vehicles of the time was that the Ford Bronco was the easiest to drive on the road. While the Jeep and Toyota models looked like military off-road vehicles, the Ford Bronco looked like a vehicle that could tackle the mud as well as the pavement.

Now, it was nowhere near as comfortable on the road as a sedan or estate car, but it was surprisingly good for a SUV. To add to that, it had enough power to get you where you needed to go and to cope with the rough off-road terrain. Like many old Fords, it also had a reliable engine and a good transmission that allowed people to drive them for thousands and thousands of miles.

The car sold well. In fact, Ford almost sold 20,000 units each year after its release for more than 10 years. When the car started to become outdated, sales started to slow. However by this time Ford had already sold more than 100,000 units of the Ford Bronco. The looks, feel, capability, and popularity of the Ford Bronco solidified its place in history.

Today, Ford is releasing a new version of the Bronco that surprisingly is quite similar to the original versions in terms of looks. The drivetrain and technology has of course been redone but the primary feel of the car is the same. It is still a similarly sized SUV that is meant to be able to go off-road as well as on-road.

If you are interested in the vintage version, there are many old models that are currently on-sale today. However, as I have just talked about, the Ford Bronco is a classic vehicle that is in high demand and if you want one you may have to cough up some serious bucks. In my personal opinion though, it is totally worth it as you will certainly have quite a bit of fun with the old Ford Bronco!

Thank you! - In and around 2000, the Eagles played a number of concerts in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. These concerts were recorded and put together as the Millennium Concert Collection. This collection has been included in a few other releases but has never been offered on its own and was never offered before on vinyl.  The Millennium Concert is being offered as a single vinyl album that consists of 12 tracks, which are shown below. The album features a number of live versions of fan favorites such as 'Hotel California' and 'Peaceful Easy Feeling'.  This album is quite special for a few reasons though the main one being that this was the last time that the Eagles played all together as a united group. This recording features Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schm...

11 Movies All Vintage Cinema Lovers Need to Watch!

Introduction: As a vintage cinema lover myself, I though that I would compile a list of the best movies for old movie lovers to watch! Some of these are personal favorites but I tried my best to stay unbiased and to simply put the best movies. I have seen all of these movies and, no matter which ones you choose to watch, they are all fantastic. I also would like to say that these are in no particular order and instead they are just in a simple list format. So, let's talk about what the best movies to watch are if you are a vintage cinema lover! #1: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest     One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest tells the story of a criminal who is sent to an asylum to be psychiatrically evaluated to determine whether he is criminally insane, or whether he should be sent back to jail. The movie starts as Randle McMurphy, the main character, is brought into the insane asylum and meets the doctors and nurses. It becomes quickly apparent that Randle is not actually insane and fr...

Did Bon Scott write any of Back in Black?

I should probably start this off with a sort of a disclaimer. Firstly, I am not expert on this nor am I affiliated with AC/DC. This is mere speculation and opinion. However, it is quite an interesting topic in the world of AC/DC since there are many fans who often wonder about this. But, for those who are not as familiar with the subject, let's start by setting the scene of the story. In February of 1980, the lead singer of AC/DC Bon Scott passed away. He was one of the core parts of the band and played a large role in the band's songwriting process and performances. Bon Scott was the front man for AC/DC along with Angus Young and had quite a large following. However, he was also a very stereotypical Rockstar as he spent much of his time doing drugs, partying, and living a fast lifestyle. This eventually would be what lead to his death in 1980. He passed away after a long night of drinking when he curled up in the back of his car to sleep. In his sleep he choked on his own vo...
