Queen: We Will Rock You Live 1981

About: This is a fantastic live recording of Queen. It is in great color and the sound quality is almost perfect! I think that this is one of the best recordings of them that I have seen in a while! They are playing We Will Rock You, a classic, and this looks like it was a really fantastic concert. I found this on the Youtube Channel 'Old Tapes', a channel that anyone reading this blog should probably follow as they post a lot of vintage recordings. If you liked this article or video, please consider sharing it with your friends to help the blog out! Thanks for watching and have a great day!

Song Review: Whole Lotta Love

Introduction This is one of those songs that I have been hearing since I was very young but didn't what it was called or who it was by until I was a teenager. My dad played it all the time and so I heard it quite often. In fact, I knew most of the lyrics before I knew the name of the song. However, once I started to learn more about Led Zeppelin and classic rock, this song got even better because I began to understand the band, the album, and the song a lot better. So, let's talk about this song! First, I am going to talk about how it sounds. Then, I am going to talk about the lyrics. And finally, I am going to give it an overall score, something that I plan to give to all the songs, albums, bands, and movies that I do review articles for on this blog. So, let's get into the article! The sound When the song first starts, you hear this distorted guitar with this really cool echo effect. That effect, it is said, was actually not done with a guitar pedal but rather Jimmy Page

The 1968 Mazda Cosmo

Introduction I want to start this off by saying that I am actually a pretty new fan of the Mazda Cosmo. I saw a picture of it the other day while scrolling through Instagram and was instantly hooked. I went right to my computer and read all about it, looked for ones on sale, read about the history, you get the just of it. Overall, I though that the Mazda Cosmo is a pretty cool little car and since it is pretty vintage, I thought I would tell you guys about it. First I will do a little bit of a history on Mazda and then we will talk about the car, the cool stuff about the car, and the weird stuff about the car. So, without further ado, let's get started with the article! The Company Everyone probably already knows of the Mazda car company as they are a fairly popular car brand. They sell hundreds of thousands of cars yearly and sell their cars all around the world. However, it is less known that they actually started in 1920 as a cork manufacturing company. In the 1920s, they had so

Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix Live

About: This is one of the best live recordings that you can find of Jimi Hendrix. On top of that, this is a recording of one of his best songs, Hey Joe. The verse and chorus are rather similar in this recording to the actual song and the sound quality is very good. However, there are two things that make this recording extremely special. The first is that, during the solos, Jimi does his signiture solos where he plays with his teeth, his tongue, and with the guitar behind his head. The solos are loud and brash but some of the best to ever be played. To add to that, the recording is colorized, which is also very rare for a live Jimi Hendrix recording. This is the perfect video if you are a Jimi Hendrix fan or even just a classic rock fan in general. I think that you will all enjoy this fantastic recording and, if you know where this was recorded, please leave it in the comment section below! This video was released by the channel Old Tapes of YouTube, a channel that I suggest you all

Stairway to Heaven: Live Recording

About: It is not often that you find a live audio and video recording this good for completely free! This is a live version of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. It was posted a while ago on YouTube by a great channel called Old Tapes, a channel that I suggest you all go and check out! The audio part of the recording has been remastered, I am assuming, and it absolutely fantastic! It really sounds great. To add to that, you also get to experience the light show as it was at the original concert. The actual concert and date is not listed in the description but, if you know what concert this is from, then please feel free to leave it in the comments below! This recording features some great guitar riffs and an amazing solo from Jimmy Page as well as some unheard vocal adlibs from Robert Plant. I think this is one of the best free recordings I have seen of live Led Zeppelin, and I highly suggest that anyone interested in Led Zeppelin watches it!  If you found this article and video int

11 Movies All Vintage Cinema Lovers Need to Watch!

Introduction: As a vintage cinema lover myself, I though that I would compile a list of the best movies for old movie lovers to watch! Some of these are personal favorites but I tried my best to stay unbiased and to simply put the best movies. I have seen all of these movies and, no matter which ones you choose to watch, they are all fantastic. I also would like to say that these are in no particular order and instead they are just in a simple list format. So, let's talk about what the best movies to watch are if you are a vintage cinema lover! #1: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest     One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest tells the story of a criminal who is sent to an asylum to be psychiatrically evaluated to determine whether he is criminally insane, or whether he should be sent back to jail. The movie starts as Randle McMurphy, the main character, is brought into the insane asylum and meets the doctors and nurses. It becomes quickly apparent that Randle is not actually insane and from th

4 Reasons to get a Record Player

Introduction About a year ago, I bought my first record player. I had been listening to a lot of rock and roll and was told by a friend that it was better to listen to rock on a record player. At first I though it would just be a waste of money but after a while I though I would give it a try. Fortunately, my dad still had some of his old Zeppelin records and so I went out and purchased a decent record player. I bought one for about $150, so I wasn't expecting much but honestly, I have been very pleasantly surprised! The record player has been one of my best purchases to date and now, I'm gonna tell you why you should also get one!   #1: The Looks Maybe I am just a sucker for the aesthetic of the '60s and '70s but I think that the vinyl record players look so cool! They make any room look a thousand times cooler and honestly, they fit with almost every aesthetic. If you have a '70s aesthetic going on in your room, a record player will fit right in. However, if you

Top 5 Reasons to Buy a 1969 Corvette

Introduction: Widely regarded as one of the best looking Corvette models, the 1969 model is the second Corvette to be dubbed the Corvette "Stingray". They were designed in 1967 and produced from 1967 to 1982. They came after the original stingray model, the Corvette C2.  They had big engines, long flowing design lines, and a beautiful t-top roof! In this article, I am going to give you the top five reasons why you should buy one of these old Corvettes! #1: The Engine The first reason to buy this car is because it has a great engine! There were six model levels, but even the standard came with a 5.7L V8 that cranked out 300 all American horsepower. The highest model came with a 6.9L V8 that makes 430 horsepower, which for 1969 was an astonishing number. The noise that this engine makes is also quite astonishing. It creates enough power to give the driver a great driving experience while also blessing the drivers ears with the sound of a naturally aspirated American V8! The eng
