Top 5 Robert Plant Photos

If you are reading this blog, then you are most likely quite familiar with the Led Zeppelin lead and legendary singer Robert Plant. In today's article, we are going to be showing the, in our opinion, top 5 photos of Robert Plant. Some of these are from concerts and some are just from other places. They are all great photos and, if you are a fan of Robert Plant or Led Zeppelin, then this article is perfect for you!

#5

Coming in at our #5 spot is a picture of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page. The photo was taken in 1970 just a year after Led Zeppelin had their big break. Robert and Jimmy are in an interview in this picture, most likely talking about their second album. This is one of the few times when Robert Plant was younger that he actually had a beard. That fact along with the quality of the photo has landed it a spot on this list! Also, it is worth mentioning that Jimmy's beard is almost as awesome as the mustache that Robert is absolutely rocking!

#4

This is a classic photo that many people and Led Zeppelin fans will recognize almost instantly. This is a photo taken while Zeppelin was playing a packed stadium. Robert Plant had on a shirt that read "Nurses do it Better!". This shirt quickly became a pop culture reference and is still sold in many stores today simply because Robert Plant wore it during a concert! To add to its cultural significance, the photo itself is also a great photo. You have Robert Plant feeling the music with the ocean of a crowd in the background! What an epic photo!

#3

Coming in at #3, we have a colorized picture of Robert Plant. I had some trouble finding the actual origins of this photo but it seems that it was taken some time in the early 70s. It is a photo of Robert Plant backstage before a show. He is rocking a blue jeans, a cowboy belt, and an awesome robe. I am not quite sure what show this is from but I assume that it was probably a pretty awesome show! The color is this photo however is what landed it at the #3 spot.

#2

The second best photo of Robert Plant is another picture with Jimmy Page. This photo is just absolutely fantastic and one of the coolest shots of Led Zeppelin that has ever been taken I think. Robert Plant is feeling the music and playing the tambourine while Jimmy Page Rocks out on a double necked guitar. This is a photo from an earlier Led Zeppelin show but it has never ceased to amaze me. I think that there is a colorized version of this photo somewhere however, I was unable to find that version of the photo. Now, time to move onto the number one photo on this list!

#1

This is possibly the best, and my favorite, photo of Robert Plant. In this photo he is carefully holding a dove while having a smoke. If someone could let me know in the comments, I would love to know what the context of this photo is. I know that this is a mid-70s photo by how old he looks, but I am not sure what the context is here. Nevertheless, this photo is great. It almost embodies part of the spirit of Led Zeppelin and I am surprised that this photo was not used as an album cover for one of the later albums.

'The Millennium Concert' by Eagles is now on Vinyl

   - Dear reader, I offer this blog completely for free. If you would like to help support the blog, you can subscribe above, follow in the pull out menu, or share this article with your friends! Thank you! - In and around 2000, the Eagles played a number of concerts in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. These concerts were recorded and put together as the Millennium Concert Collection. This collection has been included in a few other releases but has never been offered on its own and was never offered before on vinyl.  The Millennium Concert is being offered as a single vinyl album that consists of 12 tracks, which are shown below. The album features a number of live versions of fan favorites such as 'Hotel California' and 'Peaceful Easy Feeling'.  This album is quite special for a few reasons though the main one being that this was the last time that the Eagles played all together as a united group. This recording features Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schm...

Beginnings: The Ferrari 328

Beginnings: This is the beginning of something beautiful. It is the start of a new community for those who love the art and design of the past and all it has to offer. The cars, the art, the music, and all the vintage design that you could ever want. I have always been interested in the past, specifically in the designs. The cars were beautiful and loud, or elegant and smooth. Then there was the music, there was the Rock and Roll, the Blues, the Jazz, and so much more! The art is always a thing of absolute beauty and it can take the imagination to places so stunning and wild that you may never want to return. So, in this community, we will cherish all that is vintage and take a moment to tell the stories of the past. The year 1969 was chosen for an obvious reason. There are years that were better for cars, or better for music, or better for art. However, if asked to chose one such year that brought together a culmination of the best of all of these things, many would quickly offer up t...

Eagles by The Eagles: Album Review

Author's Note: This is a note that was written after this post was written: I apologize that this article is kind of all over the place. I am still learning how to write about music and bands. Thank you for reading and all feedback is accepted! Just let me know what you think in the comments! The Band: As far as classic rock albums go, this one is by far the most popular! Eagles is an album by the band The Eagles, which is a little egotistical, and is one of the best rock albums, and best albums, of all time. The Eagles were a rock band in the 1970s and a wildly popular one at that. This album was arguably their best album and defined a whole genre of rock and roll for the next 20 years after its release. In this review I will talk about the band, the album, and then go over some of the music on the album! So, without further ado, let's talk about The Eagles! The Eagles are a true American rock band. They were formed in Los Angeles in 1971, just a year before the release of the...
