Roger Waters Announces New 2022 Dates for Postponed Tour

- Dear Reader, We have a new website! You can check it out by clicking here: 1969 Inc. -

In a recent video, Roger Waters has released a schedule for his previously postponed 'This is Not a Drill' Tour. The new video shows previous concert clips and showed Roger talking about the new tour. The tour was originally supposed to happen in North America in 2020 but was postponed due to Coronavirus. Now, the tour has been rescheduled.

Roger Waters is one of the most famous rock musicians as he spent many of his year playing with the band Pink Floyd. Roger Waters is often considered the creative mind of Pink Floyd as much of the band's music is written by him. He played many roles in Pink Floyd's performances including singing, playing the bass, playing the acoustic, and more. Roger Waters wrote most of the lyrics and much of the music for albums like 'The Dark Side of The Moon', 'The Wall', and 'Animals'. All of these were massive hits and are still played pretty often today.

In the 80s, Pink Floyd suffered a rift as the band started to fall apart. After releasing the Final Cut, the band fell into chaotic legal battles that ended with the dissolution of the band. You unfortunately cannot see Pink Floyd in concert anymore but, Roger Waters performs all of the Pink Floyd you could ever need in his shows.

In total, there were 31 cities that were announced for the tour with some of the cities getting multiple shows. The tour will start on July 6th, 2022 in Pittsburgh and will end in Dallas on October 28th, 2022. So, as you can see this is going to be a pretty long tour! The tour is supposed to last the entirety of the summer with Roger travelling and performing all over the United States and Canada.

If you are interested in attending, the tickets can be found on his website as well as on sites like Ticketmaster. The tickets range anywhere from $50 to $600 depending on what kind of experience you would like. They have nose-bleed tickets all the way to 'Platinum tickets' that give you a VIP experience. If you would like to purchase tickets though you should go soon as they are selling fast!

Did Bon Scott write any of Back in Black?

I should probably start this off with a sort of a disclaimer. Firstly, I am not expert on this nor am I affiliated with AC/DC. This is mere speculation and opinion. However, it is quite an interesting topic in the world of AC/DC since there are many fans who often wonder about this. But, for those who are not as familiar with the subject, let's start by setting the scene of the story. In February of 1980, the lead singer of AC/DC Bon Scott passed away. He was one of the core parts of the band and played a large role in the band's songwriting process and performances. Bon Scott was the front man for AC/DC along with Angus Young and had quite a large following. However, he was also a very stereotypical Rockstar as he spent much of his time doing drugs, partying, and living a fast lifestyle. This eventually would be what lead to his death in 1980. He passed away after a long night of drinking when he curled up in the back of his car to sleep. In his sleep he choked on his own vo...

   - Dear reader, I offer this blog completely for free. If you would like to help support the blog, you can subscribe above, follow in the pull out menu, or share this article with your friends! Thank you! - In and around 2000, the Eagles played a number of concerts in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. These concerts were recorded and put together as the Millennium Concert Collection. This collection has been included in a few other releases but has never been offered on its own and was never offered before on vinyl.  The Millennium Concert is being offered as a single vinyl album that consists of 12 tracks, which are shown below. The album features a number of live versions of fan favorites such as 'Hotel California' and 'Peaceful Easy Feeling'.  This album is quite special for a few reasons though the main one being that this was the last time that the Eagles played all together as a united group. This recording features Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schm...
